Trade Application Support Engineer Location: London \\n Experience: 17 Years \\n Industry: Market Making / Proprietary Trading / Capital Markets \\n\\n**Applicants who come from should come from a buy side / trading / capital markets environment will be given strong preference**\\n\\n Responsibilities \\n Act as the first point of escalation for any technical issues arising from the trading system \\n Manage production environments daily, including monitoring, capacity management, problem resolution, and change management \\n Ensure efficient resolution of issues while working closely with internal users and external counterparts \\n Coordinate, organise, and implement changes with external vendors \\n Plan, schedule, implement, and document change activities \\n Improve documentation, create runbooks, and automate recurring processes \\n\\n Skills and Experience \\n Prior experience in financial services (preferred)\\n Networking skills to CCNA level (preferred)\\n Strong Linux system administration knowledge \\n Experience maintaining Microsoft SQL Server \\n Exposure to AWS (preferred)\\n Experience with monitoring systems such as Grafana/Elasticsearch \\n Coding experience, particularly in Python or Java \\n\\n Desired Traits \\n Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure trading environments, acting quickly and with urgency \\n Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge trading and technology \\n Curiosity and appetite to learn new skills and technologies \\n Willingness to start early (7:15 am)
