Our client, a city-based International Bank is currently seeking to hire a fluent Mandarin speaking Analyst. They are happy to consider someone who is working as a Data Analyst, or who has had exposure to Relationship Management or someone who has supported a credit function in a bank. This is a fantastic opportunity with a wide scope covering credit committee tasks as well as credit risk skills. The role reports directly to the Head of Credit Risk. Unfortunately our client is not able to offer sponsorship for this role so we are unable to accept applicants on Tier 2 or Graduate Visa’s. Principal Purpose of the Job : In charge of the credit committee administration, including preparation, organization and material collection, sorting and archiving etc. Credit portfolio analysis and management, including assisting in data analysis and report, etc. Credit business review related work. Assist the Head/Deputy Head of Credit Risk with departmental projects and tasks. Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: In charge of the credit committee administration, including preparation, organization and documention collection etc. Produce credit portfolio reports on the sectors analysis, implementation of credit risk appetite, etc. Perform credit review and research of industry / customer-related information for all new proposals and for existing customers. Provide credit evaluation report for various credit products which provides overview of transactions, financial and non-financial risk analysis, key risks identified with the associated mitigation if any as well as credit recommendation. Provide effective challenges as well as guidance to the proposals from Front Office; Draft and present credit opinions to Credit Committee, by maintaining an objective and independent view within the credit process. Conduct post lending management work including but not limited to the annual review, monitoring the performance of the credit portfolio, etc. Other functions and tasks as maybe required to assist the Head/Deputy Head of Credit Risk. Skills Required : At least 3 years work experience in the credit area. An ability to work unsupervised, good time management skills and organized are essential. Strong data processing skills. Proficient and skilled with Bloomberg, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc. Fluent Mandarin-speaking as well as written skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
