Role overview
The role will be mainly advisory but there will be some compliance for your own portfolio and the first few months as you settle into the role, mentoring junior staff and an introduction to business development.
Duties will include:
- Provide Tax advisory services where appropriate to a large selection of clients.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including interaction with clients and colleagues to ensure all deadlines (client & statutory) are met.
- Develop relationships with clients and people within the firm.
- Identify risks in relation to the Firm’s quality control procedures and raise them to the appropriate person.
- Support Partners and manage a team.
- Compliance for some large groups.
- Write client reports.
- Lead complex projects.
- Revise technical and financial assessments prepared by other members of the team.
Person specifications – Desirable experience and skills:
- International tax knowledge advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
