We're working with a growing, boutique commercial finance brokerage looking to appoint an experienced Senior Funding Specialist.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role combining business development, deal structuring and advisory. You'll have access to an extensive panel of UK and international lenders, alongside warm referrals from an established financial services group.
The role
- Originate and structure commercial finance transactions for SMEs and mid-market corporates.
- Advise clients across a broad range of funding products, including:
- Asset-Based Lending (ABL)
- Asset Finance
- Trade Finance
- Property & Development Finance
- Cash Flow Lending
- Work directly with lenders to structure deals, negotiate terms and secure funding.
- Identify opportunities across complementary products including FX, international payments, corporate treasury and digital assets.
- Opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and progress into a leadership role.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' experience in commercial finance, ideally within a brokerage, lender or advisory business.
- Strong expertise in at least one of the funding products listed above.
- Proven track record of originating and closing deals.
- Experience structuring transactions and working through lender credit processes.
- Comfortable building relationships with business owners, Finance Directors and senior decision-makers.
