Job Role In this role, you will work directly with lighting supervisors and artists to solve technical issues, support and develop lighting tools and techniques, and advance the studio\’s lighting capabilities. You will diagnose and resolve issues throughout production and help the lighting team meet artistic and production goals. You will collaborate with Technical Directors, Department Supervisors, VFX Supervisors, and Pipeline team members to integrate and maintain the lighting pipeline. Must Have Feature animation, visual effects, or game industry production experience Scripting experience (Python, Lua, etc.) Strong technical and creative problem-solving skills Experience collaborating with a team of artists Solid understanding of VFX or Feature Animation pipelines Understanding of modern physically based rendering technology and pipelines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Nice to Have Exceptional communication skills with technical and artistic teams Software development experience (Python, C, C++, etc.) Experience with lighting, shading, and compositing Experience with Katana, Renderman, and Nuke Ability to prototype rapidly and deliver quick solutions Experience in a fast-paced creative technology environment About You Detail-oriented Organized Good communicator Team-oriented Adaptable Able to take direction Good interpersonal skills Excellent time management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
