Runners at DNEG play a central role in the smooth running of the studio. They support the DNEG team with any facilities‑based duties while learning about the company and VFX industry. This is a full‑time, 40 hours a week role that will give you the grounding and skills you need to succeed in VFX Production or an Artist role once you move up.
Running is the best way to get your foot in the door at DNEG. All our runners join us with the aim of moving up in the business, managing and supporting VFX production or contributing artistically to our projects.
As a Runner, you will work in the facilities department providing front‑of‑house support at our reception desk and support the rest of the London DNEG team with facilities‑based duties while learning about the company and VFX industry.
Runner Tasks (not limited to):- Assisting staff with any questions or queries they might have
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the correct contact
- Ensuring visitors sign in at the front desk
- Helping the facilities team with tasks around the office
- Ensuring the front‑of‑house of the building is kept tidy and presentable at all times
- Managing post in and out
- Keeping the kitchens, meeting rooms and rest areas clean, tidy and well presented
- Taking initiative to manage stocks and supplies, arranging orders where necessary
- Assisting with tenants in the London office
- Assisting with client meetings
- Assisting with refreshments for staff and client meetings
- Assisting with events
- Screening phone calls and taking messages where needed
- Answering email queries
- Assisting with meeting and screening room bookings
- Taking a lead role in suggesting ideas for process improvements for the reception desk
- Previous customer service experience favourable
- Knowledge of Google suite (Sheets, Gmail, Docs etc.) favourable
- Keen interest in the film industry and VFX
- Favourable if studied VFX based course
