Are you a proactive and dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant looking for an exciting new role? Out Grove Park Vets in London are looking for a new VCA to join their team. You will be supported by our experienced management team, who will be there with you every step of the way, alongside our Vets, RVN & Support Teams. This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week over 5 days, with a light share of weekends. There are no OOH involved.
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the vet and nurse teams, by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at all times, assisting with animal handling, working on reception, and providing support to the RVN & Vets as needed. You must be comfortable and competent in monitoring low level anaesthetics.
We boast opportunities for growth, with extra CPD opportunities, and the option of training to become an RVN. In the past year, our RVNs have achieved further qualification in anaesthesia, ECC, physiotherapy, behaviour, and diet.
