We are looking for amazing Student Vet Nurses to join our team at Streatham Hill!

Join our team at our multi‐award winning Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery – we are looking for a dedicated Student Veterinary Nurse who is ideally in their first or second year and who values patient care and progression to join our team.

Here at Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery, we have a really exciting and varied caseload where you'll be fully involved in cases including Orthopaedics, TPLOs, Fracture Repairs, Complex Medical Cases, Laparoscopic Spays, and much more, giving you the opportunity to work within your own areas of interest – whether you are an all rounder and enjoy all areas of nursing, or maybe surgery, wards, anaesthesia, or intensive care is your thing, we are happy to foster your interests and help you become the RVN you strive to be.

We have some really great equipment including CT Scanner, Gastroscope, Lap equipment, Top of the range Imotek Ultrasound, In‐house lab, and much more (With an MRI on the way!).

As a SVN, you'll play an integral part of our dedicated day team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in need. We are looking for someone with strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence. You must have excellent communication skills and team‐working abilities and have a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

What we are looking for:

  • A great SVN who is looking to qualify and grow
  • Eagerness to work alongside cert holders!
  • Someone who can confidently Monitor GA's
  • Preferably a year into your course
  • They want to do Nurse consults
