About The Role

What an exciting time at Mayow Veterinary Surgery - we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful team in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a Senior or Head RVN role in a busy, first opinion GP surgery. Ideally you will enjoy clinical coaching and supporting student nurses and be passionate about animal care, and working alongside our fantastic team of Nurses, Vets, VCAs and Receptionists here at Mayow Vets.

This is a traditional converted house with two really large consult rooms and a large waiting area, a prep area with dog kennels and a separate cat ward. We have two theatres and we are ISFM Silver Accredited Cat Friendly. We see a really good caseload here, big surgical caseload with orthopaedic cases and a great Medicine caseload too. We are a busy clinic and see a good variety of cases. We have some fantastic equipment and are always evolving!

We have 7 RVNs, 8 Vets, and 7 receptionists (between 3 clinics - Mayow, Parish Lane and Peckham). We have two Senior Vets here at Mayow - a Surgery Certificate Holder and a Vet who loves all lives Medicine & Dermatology! The train station is only a few minutes walk from the practice and there are good bus links nearby too.
