Are you a passionate and dynamic Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a fast‑paced and exciting work environment? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who values patient care and progression to join our expanding team as we expand our services even further.

Our current Vet team are amazing, our Lead Vet is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, with interests in regenerative medicine and absolutely loves offering support to any team members in the practice. Our Vet Team have lots of exciting interests creating a super well‑rounded team, with interests including Dentistry, Medicine, Imaging, Cytology, Endoscopy/Endo‑surgery, Soft‑Tissue Surgery, Dermatology and more!

Our RVN & Support Teams are second to none – they come with years of experience and are vital in the running of our practice. We love our RVN Team to progress and grow – and that’s why the majority of our management team come from nursing backgrounds.

Here at Arthur Lodge Veterinary Surgery, we have a really exciting and varied caseload where you’ll be fully involved in cases including Orthopaedics, TPLOs, Fracture Repairs, Complex Medical Cases, Laparoscopic Spays, and much, much more, giving you the opportunity to work within your own areas of interest – whether you are an all‑rounder and enjoy all areas of nursing, or maybe surgery, wards, anaesthesia, or intensive care is your thing, we are happy to foster your interests and help you become the RVN you strive to be.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Arthur Lodge Veterinary Surgery, you will be working alongside multiple certificate holding Vets, a fantastic team of RVNs, highly trained VCAs, a fully committed customer care team (meaning no reception duties for you – allowing you to utilise those skills that you’ve dedicated so much time to gain), and an incredibly supportive Hospital Management team.

With this position, you have the opportunity to support our nursing and support teams with clinical coaching opportunities and the chance to further progress your career through CPD and further certification support.

Interested in ECC? We are a 24‑hour site with a dedicated night team, but we love everyone to get involved to create an amazing atmosphere and really feel like a team. That’s why we would love for you to join our on‑call rota, pledging 7 night shifts a year (with a lovely little bonus to say thank you!).

As a RVN, you’ll play an integral part of our dedicated day team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in need. We are looking for someone with strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence. You must have excellent communication skills and teamworking abilities and have a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
