Join to apply for the Travel Consultant role at dnata. Travelbag is owned by dnata Travel, part of the Emirates Group. We are recruiting experienced Travel Consultants to join our team at our store in Harpenden.

Responsibilities

  • Sell long haul destinations and tailor-made holidays with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, whether face to face or over the phone, to encourage repeat business.
  • Meet and strive to exceed targets; participate in a target-driven environment; utilise marketing activity to generate customer enquiries.
  • Attend product and supplier events to enhance knowledge of destinations and products; engage in ongoing training and development via the in-house team and academy.
  • Represent Travelbag with professional conduct during the recruitment and onboarding process and as part of daily duties.

Requirements

  • Experience selling long haul destinations and tailor-made holidays.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for travel.
  • Motivation to meet and exceed targets; GDS experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in a target-driven environment and willingness to travel long haul is desirable.

Details

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7, typically 9:00am–6:00pm; peak periods may require 9:00am–9:00pm.
  • Location: Harpenden (Travelbag store).

  • Uncapped commission scheme with average commission around £24K, top performers averaging £55K in commission.
