Are you prepared to take on one of the most action-packed roles in the aviation industry? At dnata, we're seeking courageous and energetic individuals to join our team of Ramp Agents, where every day is a mission to keep our customer airlines' aircrafts soaring. You will be working in a flexible manner as part of a multi-skilled team operating plant and equipment to load baggage, cargo and mail into the aircraft, assist with aircraft towing and pushback operations. Operate aircraft in-plane loading systems and terminal baggage belt systems. Complete damage reports for equipment and baggage. Operate mobile and fixed equipment. Maintain good housekeeping and parking discipline. Maintain general security of ramp in accordance with Company Security procedures. Comply with all Company Procedures and Instructions and act on instructions from Supervisors/Managers as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in Ramp ideal as it is experience working with heavy/operational machinery.
- Ability to carry out both system supported and manual loading/unloading of bags.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Full UK driving licence required β minimum 1 years driving experience preferable.
- Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5-years employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.
Hours Of Work:
40 hours per week. The main roster pattern is a '6 days on, 3 days off' with a mixture of early and late shifts with the earliest start time expected to be from 04:00 and the latest finish time is expected to be up to 24:00 approximately. Some flexibility will be required.
