As an Aircraft Catering Loader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our airline customers on time in line with various scheduling requirements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dnata Service Delivery team at Manchester Airport on a seasonal contract. As an Aircraft Catering Loader, you will play a key role in ensuring aircraft are loaded and unloaded with catering supplies safely, accurately, and in accordance with airline specifications and strict operational deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading aircraft catering equipment and supplies.
  • Ensuring all catering is delivered to airline specifications and procedures.
  • Working safely and efficiently within a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Meeting tight operational deadlines while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a 24-hour operation.

Please note your duties will include but are not limited to the above.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Be able to handle pork and alcohol products.
  • Full UK driving licence with 6 penalty points or fewer.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a demanding operational environment.
  • Good numeracy skills and a reasonable standard of spoken and written English.
  • Flexible approach to working early, afternoon, and night shifts.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Be prepared to stand for long periods of time and have good mobility.
  • Be prepared to work in a chilled environment.
