We're looking for a Learning & Talent Development Advisor to support the design, delivery and continuous improvement of learning and talent initiatives across the organisation. This role is ideal for an experienced L&D professional who wants to deepen their expertise, gain broader stakeholder exposure, and continue developing their skills in learning design, facilitation, consulting and evaluation. You'll work closely with managers, HR colleagues and subject matter experts to translate business needs into practical, impactful learning solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Learning needs & solutions
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify learning and capability needs aligned to business priorities
    • Support the design of blended learning solutions, including workshops, digital learning and on-the-job development
    • Help deliver leadership, talent and capability programmes across a range of audiences
    • Adapt and contextualise learning content to ensure relevance, inclusion and practical application
  • Delivery & facilitation
    • Facilitate engaging learning sessions, workshops and virtual learning experiences
    • Co-facilitate more complex programmes alongside senior L&D colleagues, gradually taking ownership of sessions
    • Create psychologically safe learning environments that encourage participation, reflection and behaviour change
  • Stakeholder partnership
    • Build effective working relationships with managers and HR colleagues, providing sound learning advice
    • Act as a learning consultant by constructively challenging assumptions and proposing solutions beyond traditional training
    • Support managers to embed learning into day-to-day work and reinforce learning transfer
  • Evaluation & continuous improvement
    • Use data and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions
    • Identify insights and opportunities to continuously improve learning impact
    • Maintain accurate learning materials, documentation and reporting
  • Your development
    • Actively build your capability in learning design, facilitation, evaluation and talent development
    • Stay up to date with learning trends, digital tools and best practice
    • Seek feedback, coaching and stretch opportunities to support your professional growth

Essential

  • Proven experience in Learning & Talent Development or a related L&D role with the desire to grow and develop within the role
  • Experience supporting or delivering learning programmes (classroom, virtual or blended)
  • Sound understanding of adult learning principles and learning design
  • Exposure to learning evaluation methods and learning data/insights
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with confidence working with diverse audiences
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience supporting leadership or talent development programmes
  • Experience working in a complex or fast-paced environment
