dnata Catering UK are actively seeking Dock Security to join our already successful and vibrant team at London Gatwick airport. As a Dock Security, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our airline customers on time in line with various scheduling requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all dock security functions as per training provided and CAA regulations.
- Ensure that all items are handled carefully to prevent damage and that they are loaded/unloaded according to the schedule.
- Check that all items are present, correctly packed, and organised for efficient loading.
- Inspect catering carts and equipment for cleanliness, completeness, and compliance with safety standards.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager/Operations Supervisor immediately.
- Help organise and maintain the dock and storage areas, ensuring they are clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food items and the use of protective equipment.
- Coordinate with drivers, loaders, and other team members to ensure that all security protocols are followed to maintain catering deliveries being completed on time.
- Communicate any issues or delays promptly to the Supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of documentation as required by the Supervisor.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed and submitted accurately and on time.
Please note: duties may include other tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
- You must have a full driving license - preferably standard manual class B.
- Able to have experience in driving van.
- You must have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Be able to work as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
- Have a clean full driving licence.
- You must also maintain a clean and safe workstation, working in a manner that promotes good health and safety practices.
- You should also be willing to undertake manual handling, including bending, pushing and reaching.
