dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, includes the brands of Gold Medal and Travelbag. We are now recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join us at Lancaster House in Leyland (Lancashire). In this role, you’ll produce monthly management accounts, support the delivery of detailed forecasts and monthly variance analysis, and prepare additional reports and supporting schedules for Quarterly reporting and year end audit.

We’re looking for someone with previous finance experience, who is part-qualified, working to a CIMA/ACCA accounting qualification or qualified by experience (QBE). Study support is available to complete your qualification. This is a hybrid role based 3 days in the office each week and 2 days remotely.

Key Requirements
  • Part qualified, working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
  • Previous experience in a financial role
  • A proven ability to deliver high quality management information
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and financial control frameworks
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to visualise opportunities and improve business processes
  • A numerate and analytical thinker, self‑motivated and solution orientated
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and able to work under pressure
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities to improve profits and reduce costs
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and comfortable with communicating at all levels
  • Able to work in a team environment and autonomously
  • Good IT skills particularly MS Office (Excel to high standard of proficiency) and knowledge of Sage (desirable) or other similar accounting packages
