We’re now recruiting for a a creative and talented Graphic Designer who’ll be responsible for turning briefs into best-in-class marketing campaigns. You’ll be comfortable working with an existing creative strategy and be a dab-hand at using your skills to meet briefs for a wide range of online channels.

This means you need to have experience of – and active interest in – brand and online marketing best practices. We need someone who can bring a wealth of expertise and ideas to the job, along with a desire to learn new skills where needed.
We’re a close-knit team with a broad remit, so we’re excited to find someone who will enjoy working on a variety of campaigns with no one day the same as the next. You’ll thrive working on your own initiative, juggling your own workload to meet priorities and deadlines, alongside keeping relevant team members up-to-speed.
This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week.
Job Accountabilities
- Understand our customers so you can design communications that they will want to engage with
- Conceive, develop and bring to life creative assets and iconography for fully integrated campaigns that will run across digital marketing channels and on-site through the customer’s booking journey.
- Consistent branding and styling across all marketing channels
- Support the CRM programme to deliver new, and continually optimise existing, email designs and templates
- Work alongside the social media team to ensure the correct brand identity is being communicated and generate content that encourages social fans and followers to engage with the Travel Republic
- Assist the Marketing Campaign Manager and Marketing Executive to bring campaign ideas to life
- Be a brand custodian of our marketing asset library and guidelines
- Own the build, upload and maintenance of digital display assets
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with the UX team, jointly agree online style guides for assets including iconography, typography, colour palettes and merchandising.
- Create and edit video and motion graphics to support campaigns and social briefs, outputting MP4 and GIF animations.
- Actively seek out channel performance and create recommendations where you feel design or style tweaks can optimise activity and maximise ROI
- Analysis and insight of best-in-class e-commerce design trends
To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Significant design experience, preferably within the retail or e-commerce environment for B2C brands.
- Knowledge of the full Adobe Design Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects with knowledge in Sketch and advanced Acrobat usage preferable.
- Excellent re-touching and comping skills.
- A great understanding of typography; kerning, leading and ligatures etc.
- Able to apply E-commerce / retail sector design principles to effectively merchandise brand or tactical marketing assets.
- Attention to the minutest of detail and able to proof your own work.
- Experience in producing high-quality video content, including animations, transitions, subtitles and sound syncing, with attention to pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement on digital and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of Figma would also be advantageous for creating, prototyping, and collaborating on user interface designs, wireframes, and digital layouts for the website and CRM.
- A passion for marketing and e-commerce design, iconography and typography.
- A team player with strong communication and organisation skills.
- Able to deliver stand-out results, proactive and motivated to succeed.
- Able to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
