What You'll Do

  • Keep aircraft moving – Load and unload baggage, mail, and cargo with precision using in-plane loading systems and terminal baggage belt conveyors
  • Master ground operations – Support aircraft towing and pushback procedures, playing a key role in every departure
  • Be the connection – Work alongside cargo operations, ground staff, and HM Customs to ensure seamless coordination
  • Prioritize safety – Guarantee every flight is loaded to exacting safety standards and ready for departure
  • Support your team – Back up the Team Leader in driving smooth daily operations

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
  • Valid UK/EU driving licence with at least 1 year's driving experience – licence must be clear of endorsements and will be subject to DVLA checks
  • Safety-first mindset with unwavering commitment to secure working practices
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening including 5-year verifiable employment/education history, criminal record checks (meeting dnata and CAA security requirements), and medical clearance.
  • If selected, availability to attend a recruitment day on the 22nd of July at Gatwick airport.
