12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in facilities procurement and supplier management? Do you thrive on leading complex projects that deliver lasting business impact? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major transformation programme. We are seeking a skilled and commercially minded professional to lead the consolidation of all outsourced maintenance activities into a single Facilities Management (FM) provider. This high-profile project will help drive operational excellence, improve efficiency, and deliver long-term value across our estate.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the full procurement and implementation journey, working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure a successful outcome. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of comprehensive asset registers across all sites to support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • Managing the full end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, including RFP development, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor onboarding
  • Driving project delivery, ensuring milestones, risks, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed throughout
  • Collaborating closely with the wider Facilities Management team, providing support, expertise, and guidance where required

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a blend of project management expertise, commercial acumen, and facilities knowledge, alongside the ability to build strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group. You’ll have:

  • A strong understanding of building systems and maintenance activities
  • Proven experience within procurement or supply chain, ideally focused on facilities management services
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Facilities, Finance, and Legal teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor performance management, ensuring agreements deliver both value and service excellence

Desirable Qualifications

Degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Facilities Management, or a related discipline
