As a Ramp Team Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our ramp team. Your leadership and organisational skills will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely handling of aircraft on the ground. You will demonstrate confident leadership and coaching skills with the ability to understand the objectives of the role and have a plan on how to achieve them with your team in a safe, secure and professional manner, ensuring each team member performs to their maximum potential, offering guidance throughout.

You will be responsible for the loading, unloading and baggage product of the aircraft and completion of all documentation, ensuring baggage is handled safely and effectively and within all airlines' Standard Operating Procedures. You will also demonstrate great awareness and attention to detail regarding health, safety and security and ensure Equipment Care (especially EBT charging) to maximise equipment availability.

Our team supervisors have the task to maintain the integrity of the accident area in the event of personal and vehicle accidents and undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post and promote at all times the Vision, Mission, Values of dnata.

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Full UK/EU driving licence – minimum 1 year's driving experience
  • Basic computer/system skills
  • Airport experience in a ramp and/or spur environment for a minimum of 6 months within the last 2 years
  • Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report
