Role Purpose
To be an active team member, ensuring that all work is complete according to daily work schedule within the Plating, Kitchen and DLC requirements, and that all information received is communicated to the right people in a timely manner and all compliance standards met. To be actively involved and maintain a safe, compliant, effective, productive and customer orientated team which focuses achievement on results and develops and sustains effective customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- To ensure work is completed according to daily work schedule and all costs are within agreed targets
- Work in collaboration with Shift Manager to ensure that allocations, work schedules and teams are managed effectively and fairly.
- Ensure all material and product and related costs are allocated and effectively managed within budget and to deadlines
- Manage and monitor wastage. Work with the OPS Excellence Team to identify solutions
- Ensure standards of external and internal customer service are met and use of effective pro-active commutation with all internal and external key stakeholders is maintained.
- Carrying out Daily/ Weekly Team Briefings ensuring any issues raised are escalated to your Shift Manager
- Providing leadership, coaching, and training to team members
- Carrying out Daily Compliance & Core Standards checks, and issues communicated appropriately and the corrective actions
- Monitor team productivity rates and provide remedial actions where required and ensure team member are following agreed standard operating processes and procedures.
- Ensuring Food and personal Hygiene Procedures are always followed by team members

Skillset required:
- Computer literate – Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Evidenced people management experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of a fast moving and changing shop floor environment such as manufacturing, logistics, or FMCG
- An understanding of cost and control management
- Ability to plan, organise and delegate
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- An understanding of health and safety regulations in relation to operations
- An understanding of Food Hygiene in relation to operations
- Ability to lead a team
