The purpose of the role This is a key business compliance role ensuring we maintain good relations with both internal and external stake holders including the Tax authorities and minimise any potential penalties and enquiries. You will ensure the accurate and timely submission of indirect tax and excise returns, including Intrastats. Who you’ll deal with: Internal: Treasury team Central Finance, unit teams and Line Manager External: HMRC, Auditors, Customers and Suppliers What you’ll be doing: Prepare VAT returns filing in various jurisdictions including UK for submission in a timely manner Managing all EU indirect tax compliance and reporting for VAT, EC sales and intrastat obligations for submission to Fiscal agent Ensuring VAT
