What the role is:

You will be responsible for liaising directly with airside flight coordinators to capture and communicate key information relating to meal figures and aircraft stand number changes. You will be required to check, file and accurately input information onto our in-house database, circulating any changes or increases to the relevant internal department in a timely manner.

What you’ll be doing will include:

  • Retrieve all meal figures received via telex and customer specific systems for distribution to the relevant internal departments.
  • Creating of pick daily pick list
  • Ensuring all HMRC processes are adhered to
  • Updating and ensuring the maintaining of meal figures into the system
  • Printing of labels for all airlines
  • Accurately completing relevant documentation for example Compliance, HACCP, etc.
  • Reporting any accidents or incidents and ensure any corrective actions are undertaken
  • Contributing to generating new ideas and actively implementing and promoting change

What you’ll have will include:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong IT skills; Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Highly organised and motivated with the ability to solve problems and work within strict deadlines
  • Ability to deliver and improve upon set targets
  • To be self-disciplined, reliable and accurate with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong team player with a pro-active nature and self-motivated with the ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative
  • Experience working within airline catering industry
