We are seeking a talented and experienced Compliance Manager to join our Glasgow unit. The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that established policies and procedures are adhered to within the Glasgow facility, with a focus on food safety, health and safety, and security. This includes undertaking and facilitating mandatory checks, driving continuous improvement in all areas of Compliance, and acting as the local compliance contact.

Who you’ll deal with:

Internal Stakeholders: Operations, support functions, and other internal stakeholders

External Stakeholders: Authorities, customers, providers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Analyzing audit and other results and highlighting trends to identify risks and enable informed and effective decision-making.
  2. Communicating to, advising, and supporting all stakeholders, ensuring that the dissemination of information is appropriate, factual, and timely.
  3. Conducting food safety and health and safety audits to ascertain if the facility and associated colleagues are operating in accordance with applicable contractual requirements, laws, and regulations.
  4. Supporting the nominated security person with related tasks and documentation, including regular audits and follow-up actions.
  5. Liaising with customers on all aspects of the program, including the investigation and resolution of high-risk accidents, complaints, and incidents, ensuring proactive problem solving.
  6. Managing audit non-conformance and corrective action processes and procedures, and producing related reports for all stakeholders.
  7. Managing food recall processes and procedures.
  8. Managing food safety complaint handling processes and procedures.
  9. Managing internal and regulatory changes for immediate introduction.
  10. Managing temperature verification processes and procedures.
  11. Managing the introduction of food safety and health and safety policies, procedures, and systems.
  12. Managing the introduction of initiatives and projects.
  13. Producing regular food safety, health and safety, and security reports for all stakeholders.
  14. Providing technical advice, support, and direction to providers and suppliers on food safety, health and safety, and security.
  15. Managing the compliance training matrix.
  16. Periodic weekend work will be required as part of a roster.

What you’ll have:

  1. A background in the introduction of food safety and health and safety policies, procedures, and systems.
