- Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
- Book appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
- Help to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment Booking in follow up appointments for the pet once they have left their initial consultation
- Help the Vet and Nurse team with queries
- Being responsible for paperwork being scanned onto pets digital records
- Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
- Ordering food and medication
- Taking payment immediately after treatment of the pet 0% finance application processing for those clients wanting to spread the cost of payment for larger operations
- Managing an extremely busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism - and don't forget about those emails coming through or those social media pages!
- Previous Experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary or Medical Industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational abilities and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service Be proficient in computer systems and software, having experience using RxWorks is a MASSIVE plus!
