Our friendly and independent Streatham Hill Vets team is looking for a Weekend Veterinary Receptionist who truly enjoys creating a warm, supportive, and professional experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors. At Streatham Hill Vets, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding service and compassionate care, supported by an experienced network of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and Support Teams.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a client-focused environment and takes genuine pride in going above and beyond to help both pets and their owners feel welcomed, reassured, and cared for. This role would suit a customer service enthusiast with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a calm, caring approach.
Weekend shifts available:
- 8:30am – 5:00pm
- 11:30am – 8:00pm
Your role will include:
- Providing a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to every client and patient
- Answering telephone calls and booking appointments efficiently and compassionately
- Supporting and guiding clients within the clinic
- Responding promptly to emails, enquiries, and Facebook messages
- Managing patient records and scanning documents accurately
- Taking payments and assisting clients with treatment queries
- Promoting and advising clients on our Healthcare Plan
- Processing and logging insurance claims
- Assisting the clinical team with handling and restraining patients when required
