Here at Briar House Vets, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our incredible team as a Veterinary Receptionist.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, you'll be the friendly face and the first person our clients see when they walk through our doors, greeting clients with a smile and giving their pets a good old fuss!
Your day at Briar House Vets could include:
- Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
- Booking appointments and arrivals
- Helping to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment
- Booking in follow-up appointments for the pet once they have left their initial consultation
- Helping the Vet and Nurse team with queries
- Being responsible for paperwork being scanned onto pets' digital records
- Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
- Ordering food and medication
- Taking payment following treatment
- Managing an extremely busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism
Ideally you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
- Be proficient in computer systems and software, having experience using RxWorks is a MASSIVE plus!
- Must enjoy cuddling pets - pets are everything to our amazing teams
We can be flexible on hours - Offering evenings and weekends on rota or weekends only - rota can be discussed.
