About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join the team at our prestigious Central London surgery - Elizabeth Street Veterinary Clinic!

We pride ourselves on our commitment to providing the very best veterinary care while creating a warm and welcoming environment for our teams, our patients and their owners.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, you'll be the friendly face and the first person our clients see when they walk through our doors, greeting clients with a smile and giving their pets a good old fuss!

You’ll assist them with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries and providing general support.

This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week with 1:3 weekends (TOIL for weekends worked!)

Your Day At Elizabeth Street Could Include

  • Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
  • Book appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
  • Help to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment Booking in follow up appointments for the pet once they have left their initial consultation
  • Help the Vet and Nurse team with queries
  • Being responsible for paperwork being scanned onto pets digital records
  • Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
  • Ordering food and medication
  • Taking payment immediately after treatment of the pet 0% finance application processing for those clients wanting to spread the cost of payment for larger operations
  • Managing an extremely busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism - and don't forget about those emails coming through or those social media pages!

About You Ideally You Will Have

  • Previous Experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary or Medical Industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational abilities and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service Be proficient in computer systems and software, having experience using RxWorks is a MASSIVE plus!
