We're looking for a reliable, organised Veterinary Pharmacy Manager to join our busy, award winning team at Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery.
This role would suit someone with pharmacy or veterinary experience who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will support our veterinary team by managing medications, maintaining meticulously accurate stock levels, and ensuring the safe dispensing and ordering of pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense veterinary medications in accordance with veterinary prescriptions
- Run the pharmacy room and take pride in keeping things running and organised
- Order pharmaceutical and consumable stock from approved suppliers
- Monitor stock levels and maintain appropriate inventory
- Check deliveries and ensure correct storage of medicines
- Manage expiry dates and oversee stock rotation
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records in line with regulatory requirements
- Assist the veterinary team with medication preparation and queries
- Keep the pharmacy area organised, clean, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements
- Experience in a pharmacy, veterinary practice, or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organisational and inventory management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and computer skills
- A proactive, reliable, and conscientious approach to work
- SQP Qualification desirable or willing to study
