About The Role
Are you a passionate and experienced Veterinary Receptionist looking for an exciting opportunity at our Mayow vets in London? Look no further! Here at Mayow Vets, we are currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our incredible team as our head veterinary receptionist.
Your Day Could Include:
- Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
- Booking appointments and arrivals on the system
- Helping to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment
- Booking in follow up appointments for the pet once they have left their initial consultation
- Helping the Vet and Nurse team with queries
- Being responsible for paperwork being scanned onto pets digital records
- Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
- Ordering food and medication
- Taking payment immediately after treatment of the pet
- 0% finance application processing for those clients wanting to spread the cost of payment for larger operations
- Managing an extremely busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism
This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week, with a 1:4 weekend rota. Salary up to £32500.
About You
Ideally you will have:
- Previous Experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
- Be proficient in computer systems and software
