We are looking for a class 7.5 t driver for our client based in Wythenshawe. Working Monday to Friday with 05 to 07 am starts, overtime and weekend work is available.
You will be driving an HGV 7.5t truck with curtains, helping with loading and unloading when required, pulling curtains and securing the loads. Most stock is on pallets, and you will primarily load and unload on the sites; however, there may be occasions when you will use a pump truck.
You will ensure all paperwork is signed and cargo is checked. You will report any delays or issues with collections/deliveries back to the transport office. You will check your truck before leaving every day and upon your return.
This is a stable role for a candidate who is looking for a great company to build a career with. You will need to pass a criminal record check and provide us with a 5-year work/education history.
Our customer is offering £14 per hour for 50 hours (Basic £36,400). Overtime flat rate is £14 for Mon-Fri and £18 for weekends. We are happy to consider drivers with a minimum of 6 months driving class 3 trucks, as long as they can use a tachograph, understand working time directives, and can follow company processes.
