Hours: 24 hours per week (across 3 days – fixed but flexible to suit the successful candidate) – NO WEEKENDSLocation: Kent – primarily Ashford area, with travel across multiple sitesSalary: Up to Ā£50,000 FTE (pro rata for part‐time hours)

Role OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join a growing clinical services team in Kent. This is a part‐time position (24 hours per week) delivered across three flexible working days.

You will play a key role in providing expert pharmaceutical care across a portfolio of healthcare sites, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe, effective, and patient‐centred use of medicines.

Sites CoveredThe role will involve travel to a range of healthcare settings, mainly within the Ashford area, including (but not limited to)

Key Responsibilities

Attend allocated site visits punctually in line with contractual requirements

Conduct audits, including prescription chart screening for clinical appropriateness

Undertake medicines management audits to ensure regulatory compliance

Communicate effectively with on‐site staff and become familiar with local policies and procedures

Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide specialist medicines advice

Deliver clinical training sessions to healthcare professionals

Support service development, policy reviews, and implementation of change

Maintain GPhC registration and practise in line with professional and ethical standards

Report into and be supported by Senior Clinical Pharmacists

Professional DevelopmentThe organisation strongly supports continuous learning and development. Following probation, funding opportunities may be available for:

Postgraduate Certificate in Psychiatric Therapeutics

European Certificate in Palliative Care

Candidate RequirementsEssential

Master\’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)

GPhC registration

Minimum 12 months post‐qualification experience

Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Commitment to developing clinical knowledge and achieving clinical excellence

Desirable

Hospital experience (community pharmacists with a strong clinical interest are also encouraged to apply)
