About the Role
DNA Recruit is working with a leading creative communications & events agency to find a dynamic and commercially driven New Business Lead to spearhead growth and new client acquisition. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with senior decision‑makers, and shaping the agency’s growth trajectory through compelling storytelling and long‑term partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Identifying and targeting prospective clients through research, networking, and referrals.
- Leading outreach efforts across phone, email, and LinkedIn, in addition to agency‑led initiatives and campaigns.
- Generating and nurturing leads into qualified opportunities.
- Leading introductory meetings and uncovering client challenges to create bespoke solutions.
- Shaping a strong new business pipeline and supporting RFIs, RFPs, and pitch responses.
- Collaborating with marketing and client service teams to ensure seamless integration of outreach and delivery.
- Representing the agency at industry events and developing thought leadership in the market.
Skills and Experience Required
- 5–10 years’ experience in business development, sales or growth within the creative, communications, or events sector.
- Proven track record in winning new clients and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Strong experience in cold outreach and relationship‑building with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Commercially astute with experience closing deals with multi‑million‑pound budgets.
- Highly organised, detail‑focused, and confident using CRM and sales‑enablement tools.
- Entrepreneurial, energetic, and emotionally intelligent, with a fearless, solutions‑focused approach.
