Project Manager – Experiential & Production
Location: Manchester (office-based with some flexibility)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 17.30
We\’re working with a leading experiential production agency known for designing and delivering immersive environments, branded installations, large‐scale event builds, and bespoke creative experiences. They\’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who can confidently run complex projects end‐to‐end and act as a trusted partner to clients, creatives, and production teams.
This is a hands‐on role where you\’ll be deeply involved in planning, logistics, budgeting, and on‐site delivery. The ideal person is calm under pressure, solutions‐focused, highly organised, and experienced in bringing ambitious concepts to life.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the entire lifecycle of multiple projects, from brief, scoping and costing through to fabrication, install, and final delivery.
Manage internal teams across creative, design, production, and technical departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
Build strong client relationships, taking ownership of communication, expectations and delivery standards.
Produce accurate costings, manage project budgets, track spend and forecast any risks.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and freelancers, ensuring all parties deliver on time and to spec.
Create detailed project plans, including production schedules, installation timelines, logistics and on‐site operational planning.
Lead on‐site during builds and installations, overseeing H&S, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth delivery.
Support senior leadership in developing proposals for speculative projects, advising on feasibility, approach and budget.
Maintain a high standard of documentation, reporting and communication throughout each project.
About you
You have solid experience in project or production management within, events, creative fabrication, retail display or branded installations.
You understand technical production processes, including engineering stages, material considerations, fabrication workflows and install logistics.
You\’re confident managing multiple fast‐moving projects with competing deadlines.
You\’re a strong communicator who can keep clients informed, motivated and reassured throughout a project.
You\’re proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a busy, hands‐on environment.
Experience with permanent retail or brand installations is beneficial but not essential.
