This is a concept-led position, focused on spatial storytelling and the translation of ideas into visually compelling environments. You’ll work closely with senior creatives and production teams to develop innovative, buildable designs that balance creativity with commercial viability.

The role sits at the intersection of design, narrative, and technology, with a strong emphasis on creating impactful physical and experiential spaces. You’ll take ownership of the 3D creative output across a range of live and experiential projects, from early-stage concepting through to final visualisation. Working collaboratively across creative, technical, and production teams, you’ll bring ideas to life through high-quality renders and spatial design, ensuring concepts are both inspiring and executable. This is a highly dynamic role requiring agility, curiosity, and a strong ability to respond to feedback and evolving briefs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop original spatial concepts in response to client briefs, exploring ideas through sketches, models, and emerging creative tools.
  • Produce high-quality 3D renders, walkthroughs, and visual assets that communicate design intent clearly, from early-stage concepts through to client-ready presentations.
  • Design and map visitor journeys, considering flow, engagement, and overall experience within a physical environment.
  • Work closely with creative, production, and technical teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-aware, and deliverable.
  • Confidently present concepts and design rationale to internal stakeholders and clients, adapting based on feedback.
  • Produce general arrangement drawings to support production and costing, with an understanding of build processes and materials.
  • Maintain high standards across all 3D output, including reviewing and guiding freelance or external design support where required.
  • Leverage real-time rendering tools and explore emerging technologies to enhance visual storytelling and immersive design.
  • Incorporate sustainable thinking into design solutions, considering materials, modularity, and long-term impact.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a strong creative culture and consistent output quality.
Experience & Skills:
  • Proven experience in a 3D design role within events, exhibitions, or experiential environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing spatial and experiential design work.
  • High level of proficiency in 3D software (e.g. Rhino, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender or similar).
  • Experience with real-time rendering tools (e.g. Unreal, Twinmotion, V-Ray, KeyShot).
  • Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD or similar).
  • Strong understanding of production processes, materials, and build feasibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
Profile:
  • Naturally curious with a strong creative instinct.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining a clear view of overall project objectives.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Able to take ownership while knowing when to seek input or support.
What’s on Offer:
