An established global event production and AV business is looking for a Project Manager to join its London team, taking ownership of the technical delivery of large-scale live and corporate events. This is a hands-on project management role covering the full event lifecycle, from initial technical planning and pre-production through to onsite delivery, show execution and post-event wrap-up.
You’ll work closely with clients, technical teams, suppliers, venues, sales and operations to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, safely and profitably.
The Role
- Manage large-scale event projects from initial planning through to load-in, live show and load-out.
- Develop technical production schedules, project plans, labour requirements and equipment specifications.
- Coordinate internal technical teams, freelancers, suppliers and venue partners.
- Act as the key client contact throughout planning and onsite delivery.
- Determine equipment, technical and resource requirements alongside Sales and Operations.
- Manage onsite changes to schedules, equipment and workforce requirements.
- Oversee event budgets, costs, sub-rentals and external labour spend.
- Review technical documentation and support the creation of technical diagrams.
- Ensure Risk Assessments, Method Statements and relevant Health and Safety documentation are completed.
