A fast-growing and market-leading events and media business is looking for a commercially driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to join its London-based team. The company delivers flagship marketing events and media platforms that connect brands, agencies, tech partners and senior decision-makers. With an established reputation and ambitious growth plans, this role sits at the heart of driving sponsorship and partnership revenue across a premium portfolio.

This is a consultative commercial role focused on building long-term partnerships, not transactional sales.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for generating sponsorship revenue across live events and associated media products, working across both new business and existing accounts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving sponsorship and partnership revenue across allocated portfolios
  • Identifying, qualifying and converting new commercial opportunities
  • Managing and growing existing client relationships
  • Leading sales conversations with senior marketing and brand decision-makers
  • Presenting tailored partnership solutions aligned to client objectives
  • Building and maintaining a strong, qualified sales pipeline
  • Collaborating with internal teams across marketing, content and operations

While much of the role involves outreach, calls and virtual meetings, there are regular opportunities for in-person meetings, industry networking and event attendance.

What They’re Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales, sponsorship sales or business development
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Confident communicator, both on the phone and in face-to-face environments
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Commercially astute with a consultative sales approach
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline management discipline
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Event or media sales experience is advantageous but not essential. Attitude, drive and commercial instinct are key.

The Opportunity

  • Join a high-growth events and media business with a strong industry reputation
  • Sell premium, well-established platforms with clear market demand
  • Significant earning potential with performance-based commission
  • Opportunity for progression within a scaling commercial team
  • Hybrid working, London-based
  • Occasional UK and international travel for events and client meetings
