A leading live events and production company is looking for a Live Audio Engineer to join their growing technical team. If you thrive in fast paced environments, love creative problem solving and enjoy delivering exceptional live experiences, this could be a great next step.

The Role

In this hands‑on position, you’ll be responsible for delivering high quality audio across a wide range of live events. You’ll work from prep through to show time, handling system builds, RF coordination, mixing, installation and de‑rigging. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, support clients onsite, and play a key role in bringing complex productions to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver outstanding audio for live events
  • Mix live shows including music and spoken word
  • Prep, test and build audio systems
  • Manage RF across multiple projects
  • Install and de‑rig systems with precision
  • Work closely with project teams to understand technical and client requirements
  • Share your knowledge and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in live audio engineering
  • Confident with digital control systems (e.g. Yamaha, DiGiCo)
  • Knowledge of speaker systems design (e.g. d&b, L‑Acoustics)
  • Experience managing RF systems (e.g. Sennheiser, Shure)
  • Understanding of acoustic principles
  • Working knowledge of general production techniques across IT, rigging, power and data
  • Someone who’s detail focused, communicative and takes pride in delivering great work

Details

  • Location: Hertfordshire
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (flexibility required)
