Role Summary
The Procurement Manager will be accountable for reviewing and optimising the company’s supplier base, ensuring contractual compliance, driving cost savings, and maximising value from vendor relationships. This is an individual contributor role, requiring someone who can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, work independently, and take ownership of delivering results. The role is best suited to a self‑starter who is comfortable making decisions, driving initiatives forward, and building strong relationships across the business to support growth, efficiency, and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier Management & Compliance
- Review all current suppliers to ensure contracts are valid, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
- Carry out due diligence checks and ensure ongoing vendor compliance.
- Eliminate duplication of services across suppliers and identify opportunities for consolidation.
Contract Negotiation & Cost Optimisation
- Lead contract renewals and renegotiations to achieve measurable cost savings and improved terms.
- Deliver against annual savings targets through effective commercial management.
- Identify and remove outdated or redundant contracts to reduce costs and complexity.
Business Partnering
- Work closely with business owners of processes and systems to ensure supplier engagement and accountability.
- Ensure regular supplier reviews are conducted to monitor performance, value for money, and service quality.
- Support stakeholders with sourcing and onboarding new suppliers, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Procurement Process & Governance
- Establish and maintain clear procurement processes and controls.
- Collaborate with the legal team to draft, review, and finalise contracts.
- Conduct annual supplier due diligence and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
About You
You’re an experienced procurement professional with a strong track record of managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and delivering measurable savings. You’re commercially sharp, with the ability to spot opportunities for cost reduction and improved value across the supplier base.
You’re confident building relationships at all levels, able to challenge and influence stakeholders while working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for the business. With a strong understanding of procurement best practice, governance, and compliance, you know how to balance risk with commercial benefit.
As this is an individual contributor role, you’re comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once, prioritising effectively, and working independently. A true self‑starter, you’re confident making decisions, taking ownership, and driving initiatives forward without constant direction.
