We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Showroom Assistant to join our small team on a full-time basis.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in customer service, bathroom design, and administration within an established business specializing in the design, supply, and installation of bespoke bathrooms across North East and Yorkshire.

As a Showroom Assistant, you will be at the forefront of customer engagement, playing a vital role in the efficient day-to-day operation of the showroom. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with bathroom sales, providing administrative support, and collaborating with designers and fitters on various projects.

This position requires working 37-40 hours per week, including two Saturdays per month. The salary is at minimum wage, age-dependent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers with product selection and design ideas
• Handling inquiries and providing excellent customer service
• Using computer systems to create bathroom designs
• Maintaining the showroom\’s tidiness and presentation
• Providing administrative support

Key Attributes:

• Proactive communication skills and a strong customer service mindset
• Experience with design software like Virtual Worlds is desirable but not essential
• Excellent organizational and computer skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude

No prior experience in the bathroom sector is required; however, a background in retail, administrative support, or customer service is highly desirable. Attention to detail and a keen interest in promoting business growth are important.
