DN Colleges Group are seeking to recruit a full-time Trainer Assessor – primarily to work in manufacturing operations. The post primarily involves the delivery of work-based provision of Level 2 Performing Manufacturing Operations with potential to deliver Business Improvement Techniques via onsite delivery of training sessions and assessment of competence in the workplace and one-to-one support. The learners will be based with key employers in the North Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire areas.
Candidates should have recent and relevant experience of employment within the manufacturing industry sector. Candidates should be a qualified assessor and a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or have suitable work experience within manufacturing. For unqualified assessors, there is the potential to achieve this qualification within the job role if they have the manufacturing/warehousing experience. Experience of internal quality assurance and an associated qualification would be an advantage.
This is an interesting role requiring excellent communication skills, flexibility, sound organisation skills, team working and the ability to be self-directing with a high level of accountability. A strong employer – customer – focus is critical with the ability to manage the employer, learner and College relationship effectively.
