We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Football Coach to support the delivery and development of football provision across the College. This is an exciting opportunity to engage and inspire students of all abilities, increasing participation while supporting performance development in a dynamic further education environment.
You will plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions, lead teams in fixtures and competitions, and play a key role in enhancing the student experience through sport. This role is ideal for a passionate coach who thrives on developing talent and promoting inclusive participation.
This is a variable hours contract based at North Lindsey College.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality football coaching sessions for students of varying abilities.
- Support player development through constructive feedback on performance, fitness and technical skills.
- Lead and manage college teams during fixtures, leagues and AoC competitions.
- Develop tactics and analyse individual and team performance to improve outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with staff to increase participation in football enrichment activities.
- Ensure coaching is delivered in a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Relevant National Governing Body (NGB) coaching qualification.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Level 2).
- Experience of coaching football, ideally with 16–18-year-olds.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- Enthusiastic, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
