Overview
Are you passionate about shaping the future of the built environment? We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic HE Construction Lecturer to join our Higher Education team at University Campus Doncaster and University Campus North Lincolnshire. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of construction-related programmes, including Construction, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, and Architectural and Building Services at Levels 4 and 5. You will also provide academic support to students, contribute to curriculum development, and engage with quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching sessions across HE construction programmes
- Participate in curriculum planning, development, and quality assurance activities
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, including acting as an Academic Tutor
- Contribute to promotional events and student recruitment activities
- Engage in scholarly activity and maintain strong links with industry and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree or Level 6 qualification in Construction, Building Services, or the Built Environment
- Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
- Strong subject knowledge and industry experience, particularly in CAD/BIM
- Experience of or ability to support undergraduate students
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a flexible approach to working hours
