Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of nail technicians and beauty therapists? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Lecturer in Beauty Therapy & Nails to join our Hair & Beauty team. You will deliver high‑quality teaching, support learners to achieve their full potential, and play a vital role in shaping our curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong industry knowledge and a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
Essential Criteria
- Relevant Nails and Beauty industry qualification or equivalent.
- Recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Minimum Level 2 Maths and English.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach Nails and Beauty Therapy across a range of levels.
- Experience of embedding Functional Skills English and/or Maths within lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching across Nails and Beauty Therapy programmes from Entry Level to Level 3.
- Act as a course tutor, providing pastoral support and monitoring student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
- Use innovative and inclusive teaching methods, including the integration of digital learning technologies.
- Maintain accurate records, including assessments, progress tracking, registers, and course documentation.
- Support curriculum development, quality assurance processes, and involvement in marketing and recruitment activities such as Open Days and promotional events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and uphold college policies, including safeguarding, equality, and diversity.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and participate in ongoing professional development.
This is a part‑time position, working approximately 28 to 29.5 hours per week. Final hours will be agreed with the successful candidate. Please note that the role includes working on Wednesday evenings until 7:00pm. Closing date is 5th February 2026.
