Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving quality and excellence in education? DN Colleges Group is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Director of Quality Assurance to lead and oversee quality assurance across our provision, including Education Programmes for Young People, Adult Education and Apprenticeships.
Reporting to the Vice Principal Quality (Further and Higher Education) you will embed a robust quality assurance framework, support continuous improvement and ensure compliance with awarding body and regulatory requirements. This group‑wide role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on learner outcomes and institutional performance.
Essential Criteria
- A relevant degree and a recognised quality assurance qualification
- Experience of leading quality assurance at an organisational level
- Proven success in implementing quality systems that improve curriculum performance and learner outcomes
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework and awarding body compliance
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the Curriculum Accountability Framework across the group
- Oversee internal and external quality assurance processes, including IQA and EQA requirements
- Support accurate self‑assessment and quality improvement planning
- Line‑manage the Head of Performance and collaborate with curriculum leaders to drive improvement
- Lead learner voice and engagement initiatives to shape the student experience
- Contribute to the assessment of teaching, learning and CPD delivery
- Ensure compliance with Ofqual and awarding organisation standards, including EPA
- Build external networks to benchmark and share best practice
