About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Business Manager to lead our Admissions and Enquiries team. This critical role involves driving admissions across all our educational provisions, including apprenticeships, further education, higher education, and adult education. You will ensure a high-quality, standardised admissions process that enhances the learner experience and meets the needs of our local economy.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the admissions process for all educational provisions.
  2. Collaborate with curriculum teams and senior leaders to ensure a positive admissions journey.
  3. Develop and implement standardised application models and procedures.
  4. Oversee a high-performing admissions team, ensuring efficient and professional service.
  5. Innovate and improve admissions procedures to maintain high conversion rates.
  6. Ensure consistent communication throughout the application process.
  7. Report on admissions data to senior leadership for forecasting and resource planning.
  8. Prioritise safeguarding, equality, and diversity in all admissions activities.
  9. Engage in business networking and liaise with schools and colleges to grow application numbers.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Level 5 qualification or above in a relevant field.
  • Experience managing significant volumes of ESFA funded provision, including apprenticeships.
  • Thorough knowledge of the national apprenticeship and adult education context.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage resources effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
