As an Associate, you will play a key leadership role within the Practice, responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple projects, managing client relationships, and contributing to strategic development. The role includes design leadership, project management, team leadership and business development.
DMWR Architects is Chartered with the Royal Institute of British Architecture and as such you must follow the ARB and RIBA Code of Practice and the RIBA Code of Professional Conduct.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead architectural projects through relevant RIBA work stages, ensuring design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff, consultants, and contractors.
- Monitor project budgets, programs, and resource allocation.
- Ensure management of design changes is robust with additional fees agreed and documented.
- Lead and mentor small project teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Support team development through regular feedback, training and performance reviews.
- Act as the primary point of contact for your clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Represent the practice in meetings, presentations and public forums.
- Produce fee bids, client presentations, and project reviews, demonstrating commercial awareness and strategic foresight.
