My client is a bulk liquid storage provider operating terminals strategically placed across the UK. They currently require an electrical supervisor to be based at their multiple sites across Teesside on a permanent basis.
Role:
- To ensure that Terminal electrical maintenance is managed safely and efficiently by Electrical Technicians and Contractors' Electricians.
- Ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems in accordance with UK regulations and industry best practice.
- Competent, safe and accurate completion of all allocated tasks to maintain the quality performance of the company.
- Provide technical support, leadership and guidance to projects, operations and maintenance.
- Comply with the UK Policies and Procedures.
Main Duties:
- Ensure planned and unplanned maintenance routines are prioritised, resourced and completed on time, in line with all relevant standards.
- Ensure that all tasks, follow up works and repairs are recorded and updated on the site CMMS.
- Ensure that all maintenance personnel and contractors working on the terminals are competent and comply with site rules and regulations.
- Produce engineering and maintenance procedures for new systems.
- Preparation and review of method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
- Develop maintenance technical instructions and scopes of work for procurement.
