DMW Recruitment are partnering with a long-established, global manufacturer of valves and bulk handling equipment to appoint a UK National Sales Manager / Business Development Manager.

The business designs and manufactures valves, loading spouts and associated dry bulk handling equipment from their US facilities, supplying customers worldwide. They are now seeking a UK & Ireland Sales Manager / Business Development Manager with strong engineering knowledge, ideally within dry bulk solids or a closely related sector. This role will suit someone with a technical or engineering background gained in industries such as chemicals, plastics, food processing, minerals, mining, or similar process environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate commercial growth by securing project opportunities and influencing specifications across the UK and Ireland
- Proactively identify and develop new business with end users and OEM partners
- Create and deliver structured sales plans aligned to revenue targets
- Manage and progress a personal sales pipeline while contributing to wider team success
- Represent the business at UK and international exhibitions and trade events
Person Specification
- Proven business development or sales experience within an engineering or technical product environment
- Strong team ethic with the ability to work independently
- Excellent technical and commercial communication skills
- Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel
