My client is a bulk liquid storage provider operating terminals strategically placed across the UK. They currently require a maintenance manager to be based at their site at Seal Sands on a permanent basis.
Role:
- Responsible for day-to-day oversight of terminals maintenance staff, planning and executing all maintenance activities associated with the safe and efficient running of the regions.
- Responsible for preparing a rolling weekly and monthly lookahead for planned/unplanned works.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians across multiple sites.
- Ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all equipment and facilities.
- The maintenance supervisor is responsible for scheduling work, supervising technicians and ensuring methods are appropriate and risks assessed and suitably controlled.
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative, industry and site regulations.
- STOP work authority for any activity that is deemed unsafe.
- Line management of maintenance technicians and discipline supervisors.
- Supervise and assign daily tasks to maintenance staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance personnel to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the maintenance team.
